Updating bash to patch Shellshock on discontinued CentOS 4.8

Sometimes, upgrading is not the first choice. If we can squeeze some more life out of what we already have in place, which otherwise runs well and serves its purpose, fixing can be a viable alternative. Patching selected legacy systems for the Shellshock vulnerability can be done effectively.
